Oracle Open World 2018 - Day 2
On day 2 of Oracle Open World 2018, I listened in on the keynote about privacy and security in the modern era, which was a panel moderated by Oracle CEO Mark Hurd. I also attended workshops about using Oracle cloud technologies and AI capabilities. I also toured around the Exchange hall for a bit, where I got the chance to play around with some VR equipment that the Oracle team was working with.

Oracle Open World 2018 - Day 1
This year, I attended Oracle Open World in San Francisco, California for two days of the four day conference. Held in the Moscone Center, the conference consisted of keynotes once or twice a day, sessions about a wide range of topics about modern technology, and a vibrant Exchange Hall with exhibits from tens of companies operating in the space of cloud technologies, IoT, artificial intelligence, and blockchain.

GWC Campus Program TA: My Experience!
This summer, I had the pleasure of being selected to be a teacher’s assistant for the Girls Who Code’s new Campus Program in Atherton, CA. I taught two courses, “iPhone App Development” and “Wearable Technology and Fashion Design”, to girls aged 12-18. It was truly a fantastic and rewarding experience.
